Aah! Marriage! That one special word that makes every person's heart sparkle!
At Linton Manor, we understand how important it is to find that perfect location. That's why we make it easy for you!
On our one block of land, we have many different gardens, all themed in a different style, so you can choose your location to hold your ceremony. We offer six main areas of note:
The Rose Garden
We have a beautiful heritage rose garden, built by the war veterans, which includes some roses that are over 100 years old! Shaped in the style of the Union Jack, the rose garden can host up to 100 guests. With a stretch of grass straight through the centre of the garden, this would make a perfect aisle for the bride to walk down, as this strip ends at a set of stairs that descend into:
The Pool Garden
With the pool being the centerpiece of this garden, it offers a large open space for your guests to stand, as well as an area to be married for all to see! The open, flat grass ensures a view for everyone, as well as landscaped gardens and everything nature has to offer!
The Remembrance Garden
Used by the war veterans to host their ANZAC parades, this garden features a pond with a statue to set the tone, surrounded by beautiful hand built stone gardens. This garden provides a perfect location to host a small ceremony.
The Front Garden
A large open area of grass presented in front of the building itself. Possibly the key feature of the entire property, our front garden is surrounded by picturesque rock gardens, as well as rock paths and provides a perfect location for the ceremony and reception. As the bride arrives by limo, she enters the front garden via the front gate, descend a set of stairs, and walk along a rock path to join the groom on the front veranda. This has 180 degree views of the front garden so all guests can see! Or they might like to do it the other way around? The bride gets ready in the guest suite, and enters the front garden by a French stained glass door, onto the veranda. From there, the bride walks along the rock path and through the sea of guests to ascend the staircase and meet the groom under the portico, and after the ceremony, they leave via the front gate and straight into a waiting limo!
The Orchard
A sloped, block of open grass on our property, the orchard is a large rectangle complete with fruit trees, perfect for hosting large numbers of guests. As the land is sloped, it provides the ability for guests to see the bride and groom no matter which end they decide to get married on. As the ceremony ends, you could then take a short stroll through the yard and end up in:
The Courtyard
Our primary location for any and all events on our property, the courtyard is a landscaped garden right outside the ballroom. Complemented with roses, lavender and of course, the building itself, this garden provides ample space for guests to watch the ceremony, and then either move into the ballroom for the reception, or stay right where they are to become a cocktail party! The possibilities of this garden are endless!
Come and see the property for yourself, we are happy to give you a personalized tour, or allow you to roam at will to view your options and get ideas! We are available for viewing by appointment only. Contact us today to arrange a time.
